AKETEKETE is looking for a Social Media Manager (Internship) to join our team in Accra, Ghana.
The Social Media Manager Intern will assist with all our day-to-day activities including social media content and marketing. He/She will also support with graphic design, analysis, and sales.
He/She will gain an invaluable experience with the logistics of running a small international company while learning about the fields of design, production, marketing, and international development.
About the job:
· Oversee and support the development of social media strategy, leverage social across platforms, and integrate social media into omnichannel marketing strategy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Live Shopping Experiences).
· Translate the brand vision and strategy into clear, compelling, and consumer-friendly messaging that inspires and connects with our target audiences
· Create engaging content calendars, monthly and weekly
· Measure weekly performance & create detailed reports
· Create informative content to help educate customers about our business model
· Always identify the latest social trends and apply them to upcoming content
· Maintain the brand tone of voice across multiple channels, ensuring consistent storytelling
· Act as an ambassador for the brand.
About you :
· High interest and knowledge to share the passion for African craftsmanship, contemporary design, and slow-made processes.
· Studies in Digital Marketing or previous experience in Social Media Management/Content Creation is advisable.
· Knowledge of Photography/Videography is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills, project management, and attention to detail.
· Emphasis on leading initiatives to improve team building and artisan craftsmanship.
· Experience in computer skills such as Adobe Cloud Programs is a plus.
· Exceptional writing and communication skills.
· Knowledge of Lead-Generation, SEO, and SEM is a big plus.
